Characteristics

MILES® is a concentrated liquid preparation resulting from the decoction in water of dry, sterile fragments of the aerial part of Equisetum arvense L. (horsetail).

Equisetum arvense L., because it contains silicic acid, saponins, flavonoids and phenols, has recognised properties as a physical barrier, desiccant, activator of natural defences and antioxidant against attack by various pathogenic fungi.

MILES® is a safe product that strictly complies with current regulations (EC Regulation No. 1107/2009), which specifies that a basic substance may be used directly or in a product consisting of the substance and a simple diluent, so that a product positioned as a basic substance may not, under any circumstances, be formulated or contain stabilising additives, preservatives, etc.

MILES®, despite not containing any additives, is characterised by its stable and prolonged half-life, as it is marketed in packaging using an oxygen-free atmosphere system that prevents microbiological contamination and chemical deterioration of the product.

MILES® is recommended for resistance management strategies and is suitable for organic farming in accordance with EU Regulation No. 848/2028.
